The region’s biggest showcase of learning excellence

The Class Awards took place on the 23rd April on a celebratory night at the Sage Gateshead. 1200 guests enjoyed a feast of entertainment before the awards show with live music, a Chinese pole circus act and three aerialist performers.

The awards took place in a packed Hall one where five individuals and six companies were awarded with prestigious Class Awards. In addition to this, three individuals and three companies were awarded with regional apprenticeship awards, the winners of which will now go onto The National Apprenticeship Awards.

The awards celebrations interspersed with amazing North East talent which included performances by AKA, recently awarded three yes’s by Simon, Amanda and Piers in this years Britains Got Talent Auditions, Bre, an amazing vocalist from Middlesbrough, rock music from Creamy licks band from South Tyneside, Ami Vaziri’s fantastic performance of You got the Love, break dancing and hip hop moves from ANSD, faultless vocals from Leanne Tonks from Blyth and a mind blowing finale from The Sage Academy of Performing Arts.
